MORAI is a provider of a modular digital twin simulation platform for the development and validation of (semi-)autonomous systems as well as manned–unmanned teaming applications. The company was founded in South Korea in 2018 and has been operating in Germany through its Munich-based subsidiary, MORAI GmbH, since 2024.
The platform is used in safety-critical automotive, defense, and dual-use programs and serves as a robust simulation environment across the entire development lifecycle in multiple defense application areas:
Autonomous Ground Vehicles (UGV)
MORAI supports the simulation-based development and validation of autonomous ground vehicles in complex on- and off-road environments. High-fidelity vehicle, terrain, and sensor models enable reproducible evaluation of perception, navigation, and mission-critical behaviors.
Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
MORAI enables mission-relevant simulation of drones and aerial threats within realistic terrain and airspace contexts. The platform supports evaluation of detection, tracking, and response concepts, including counter-UAS operations.
Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T)
MORAI supports simulation of coordinated crewed–uncrewed operations across ground and air. Time-synchronized multi-agent scenarios enable validation of tactical procedures, coordination logic, and human–machine teaming effectiveness.
Multi-Domain Operations (MDO)
MORAI supports the simulation-based development and assessment of multidomain concepts spanning land and air operations. Integrated simulation enables evaluation of coordination, situational awareness, and mission execution across multiple technology platforms (e.g. UGVs and drones).
