To the MEDIA CENTERLogistics is the lifeline of every army. Without food, there is no fight.
The war in Ukraine has fundamentally changed military logistics. Until now, shipping containers were placed close together. High-quality reconnaissance by drones and satellites can easily detect supply depots, and long-range artillery in the form of drones and missiles can strike these supply sites with precision. A single hit can destroy the entire supply depot.
How can we respond to this threat? The answer is a loosely distributed network spread across the landscape, making it difficult for an adversary to detect and attack. But how do soldiers find what they need on a daily basis?
We are an Austrian startup, and with our BOOXit technology we have developed a response to these new challenges. BOOXit consists of digitized boxes within containers, connected through dynamic clustering, providing the entire army—from soldier to general—with real-time logistical information.
We originally developed BOOXit technology for the civilian sector, including pharmaceutical logistics, parcel logistics, and industrial logistics. Over the past two years, through several research projects in cooperation with the Austrian Armed Forces—particularly the Army Logistics School—we have adapted our technology to meet new military requirements.
