Defence.NRW brings together companies, research institutions and other stakeholders from the security and defence sectors – thereby pooling North Rhine-Westphalia’s strengths and laying the foundations for innovation in the defence sector. In addition to targeted networking, the cluster also serves as the first point of contact for advice on technologies and capabilities, as well as funding and financing enquiries. Furthermore, Defence.NRW creates opportunities for exchange, knowledge transfer and cooperation on topics relevant to the security and defence industry. The Defence.NRW cluster is run by VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH and is commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
