Part measurement, for example as part of initial sample inspection, is performed on an optical or tactile coordinate measuring machine with micrometer accuracy. The test features on the technical drawing, along with their tolerances are programmed into the measuring machine, which then automatically executes the measurement program and performs an evaluation for each measurement feature. Finally, a comprehensive test report containing the measurement results is generated. The measurements are taken in a certified, climate-controlled measuring laboratory.
For on-site measurements, we use mobile, precise scanning systems that, depending on the object size, achieve accuracy in the hundredths of a millimeter range. In particular, with our tracking-based scanners, we are able to digitize even large objects of several meters in length quickly and performing e.g. quality control or for manufacturing spare parts using reverse engineering.
Vision Center GmbH offers services in the field of 3D metrology, including optical and tactile measuring machines, mobile 3D scanners, gd&t analysis of components (e.g., for initial sample inspections), and reverse engineering (e.g., for creating manufacturing data for spare parts).
If you wish to establish in-house 3D scanning technology, we distribute mobile 3D laser scanners, inspection and reverse engineering software products, and the corresponding training courses.
